| dc.description | Abstract: The objective of this essay is to analyze the situation of persons deprived of their liberty before 2008, the year in which the new Constitution was approved, the multiple causes that caused the problems of overcrowding, its serious consequences of all kinds, as well as the changes carried out after 2008 and up to the present, analyzing whether the measures taken by the Ecuadorian authorities have given the necessary results to combat this situation, or if on the contrary they have been half-way solutions or with little impact. On the other hand, we want to analyze other possible measures that can be used to creatively combat this scourge of society. | es_ES |
| dc.description.abstract | el presente ensayo tiene como objetivo analizar la situación de las personas privadas de la libertad antes del 2008, año en que se aprobó la nueva Constitución, las múltiples causas que originaron los problemas de hacinamiento, sus graves consecuencias de todo tipo, así como los cambios llevados a cabo luego del 2008 y hasta la presente, analizando si las medidas tomadas por las autoridades ecuatorianas, han dado los resultados necesarios para combatir tal situación, o si por el contrario han sido soluciones a medias o con poco impacto. Por otro lado, se desea analizar otras eventuales medidas que sirvan para combatir de manera creativa este flagelo de la sociedad. | es_ES |
